Convention bookings have rocketed in the last few weeks and so far we have filled 3 major hotels and have rapidly researched other accommodation to meet the demand.

This is a truly international event not only from those who are speakers but also from attendee bookings, so far attendees from Ireland, Norway, Finland, France, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Malta, Cyprus, Holland, Germany, South Africa, Greece, Australia, Canada and USA.

Trade show attendance is free all weekend along with the masterclass seminars on Friday evening from 4pm, Saturday morning and Sunday morning from 7 until 10 am (subject to availability). All other Masterclass are available for a one off payment of £50 or alternatively attendees can purchase and all in ticket for £89 and additionally attend the Saturday International party and Sunday evening Photographer of the Year Awards Dinner.

In addition to the masterclasses there are full day seminars Friday 13th from 8.30am ? 3.30pm with David Anthony Williams one of Australia?s most compelling speakers on social photography; the second on Monday 16th January with leading wedding photographer Bambi Cantrell running from 9.30 am ? 4.pm. The idea is to draw in traffic from people searching for specific types of photography/photographers. Kalymnos Weddings

A Testimony

We remarried in the Island of Kalymnos in September 2004.
Kate at Kalymnos Weddings, and her family, organised our entire Wedding arrangements, assisting with the necessary documentation both here in the U.K. and in Kalymnos. Our wedding, the Civil ceremony at the Council Chambers in Pothia, the Reception back in Panormas, was simply a breathtaking, unforgettable, memorable experience. We were left free to enjoy our holiday/honeymoon upon arrival in the island for 10 days, whilst Kalymnos Weddings simply arranged everything for us both and catered for our every need.

We made our flight and accommodation arrangements direct with their Tour Operator partners, Olympic Holidays, via the internet at the link from the web site. Approximate likely costs per person to include return flights and accommodation for 14 nights in June 2006 approx: £350. Once our flight and accommodation had been confirmed, we paid our confirmation deposit of 200 Euros to Kalymnos Weddings, and then Kate confirmed our wedding date with the Registrar in Pothia.

We spent 10 days relaxing in the beautiful island of Kalymnos prior to our wedding day. On our wedding day hairdressers were brought to our apartments, and the entire complex was decorated in readiness for our Wedding Reception. cars were arranged to collect us and to take us, and our wedding party the short journey into the port town of Pothia, to the Mayoral Chambers. We were married at 7.00pm by the Deputy Mayor, in what was an unrushed, simple but beautiful ceremony: our wedding co-coordinator was at our side throughout, translating the ceremony and our responses. Half of the population from the local village was there in support along with most of our holiday guests staying at the complex: a wonderful touch!
Again, cars collected us from the Mayoral Chambers and returned us to our accommodation, where upon our arrival we were staggered to find most of the village in support, the entire complex decorated in our honour, a Top Table bowing under the weight of cards and wedding gifts and a three tiered Wedding cake. Seventy one guests sat down to an amazing Bar B Q style Wedding Buffet, served around the Pool and Restaurant area: we feasted like king and queen! The champagne was popped, speeches and thanks made, the wedding cake cut, when a local traditional Greek Island band started to play for us all. Local, professional dancers joined the party, and we danced and sang the night away until midnight, when the entertainment switched to Disco, and more dancing and celebration until the moon gently hovered across the cliffs and the hillside Monastery and the stars twinkled in OUR magical heaven. At 2.00am we all stood, raised our glasses and toasted our Wedding day and our hosts: "Kalymnos Weddings" and thanked everyone for arranging what will always be one of the most amazing days of our lives.
